Mobile Workforce Management Application
This application helps companies manage their mobile workforce. Tasks are assigned and updated on tablets and the status of all jobs kept current in real-time.
A web based application is used to assign jobs to technicians who are equipped with tablets. Tasks are assigned to team members, which are monitored and completed, and updated accordingly in the system.
The tablet notifies each technician as soon as a new job is assigned to him or her. The technician can view a constantly updated list of jobs that has been assigned to him or her.
The technician can see pertinent details for each job assigned to him or her, such as customer name, address, contact details and other relevant information.
Once the technician completes the job, he or she can take necessary pictures of the completed work using the tablet as proof of the job being completed. In addition, the technician can take a signature from each customer using the tablet to confirm that the job was completed in a satisfactory manner. The job can then be submitted as a completed job.
In addition a web based dispatch application works concurrently with the system, through which the dispatchers that assign the jobs can keep track of all technicians via GPS location on a map, and calculate the most efficient routes for them.
